Return of premium (ROP) life insurance is similiar to term life insurance with an added feature. ROP provides a complete return of all premiums paid at the end of the term (assuming the policy hasn't lapsed or experienced a claim). As a result of this additional feature ROP is priced somewhat higher than regular term life insurance. ROP is suitable for consumers looking for term life insurance who also want the security of having their premiums returned at the end of the term.
